What is IRIS?

IRIS is a behavioral growth platform that makes patterns visible so they can be developed intentionally. IRIS helps individuals and organizations make growth visible, meaningful, and measurable.

Participants complete a structured survey by selecting adjectives that describe their current (Real) and aspirational (Ideal) patterns. Viewing these side by side reveals strengths, growth priorities, and behavioral tension points that drive development.

IRIS does not label personality types. Instead, it maps patterns of behavior and development over time.

What IRIS Measures

IRIS organizes behavior into interconnected domains:

  • Motivational Drivers — the internal forces that energize action and shape decision-making
  • Self-Regulatory Skills (Imperatives) — foundational capacities such as awareness, restraint, resilience, and alignment that support sustainable growth
  • Thinking Styles — how information is processed, structured, and applied
  • Relating Styles — how individuals engage, influence, and respond in relationships
  • Emotional Intelligence (EQ) — social and emotional competencies associated with effective leadership and performance
  • Workforce Readiness Skills — applied behavioral capacities that support employability, reliability, and contribution in work settings
  • Guiding & Integrated Strengths — character-level patterns and composite capacities that shape leadership and long-term direction

Together, these domains provide a structured, multidimensional view of how someone works, leads, adapts, and grows over time.

IRIS is built on the well-validated Adjective Check List (ACL) developed by Dr. Harrison Gough and integrates established research in emotional intelligence, character development, and applied workforce competencies into a single structured growth system.
